Nikon AIS 50/1.8

I have 3 of this lens from Nikon ... I also sold a couple of the same if I remember correctly. The 50mm is not a push over lens, it's a very well made piece of glass. It's reputedly better than the 50/14 according to Ken Rockwell, and it is supposed to be perfect by 2.8. I acquired my refurbished 50/1.8 from B&H on 34th Street together with an FM2 a few months before graduating university.

Many years back I bought a Nikon AIS to Leica M adapter from Voigtlander, and it fits perfectly on the Metabones Leica M to Sony E which I recently acquired.

With a little cloud break tonite, I pointed the 50/1.8 towards some stars up above  at f/1.8, ISO 1000, 1sec exposure.
