Sirdal with Grandpa

Grandpa Loke came to visit for two weeks at the end of May. The plan was for him to take a tour to Rome to see the Pope, this being Norway none of the tours were scheduled to start till mid June when summer officially begins in these parts.

Grandpa stayed with us for a week being utterly bored ... kids were at school and we were at work. We did manage to take him to spend a few days at the company cabin in Sinnes in Sirdal. Grandpa enjoyed sight seeing and making videos of everything we saw along our travels.

Used to taking packaged tours, Grandpa was visibly annoyed at our inability to provide him with the typical glib tour service available from the tour professionals.

Bergen

Our first trip to Bergen ... fabulous! Famous for it's allegedly horizontal rain, we were lucky not have experienced it all over our long weekend stay.
