Spent the wet rainy morning of the 06th September wader watching at Naerlande Beach as part of the Worl Wshorebird Day together with Neil Robert Jones Friestad.
There were approximately 2000 birds there, 80% of which were Dunlin, 10 % Common Ringed Plover and the remaining 10 % were Knot, Little Stint, Sanderling, Ruddy Turnstone, and Ruff.
The entire morning were overcast and wet; lighting were flat and not exactly ideal conditions for shooting handheld. But alas ... birders make do with what's available to them ... we did just that.
