A short run to Luak Beach and back ...

Luak Bay Esplanade at 0655hrs approximately. A few families with young children testing the surf, most kiddoes where to scared to enter the water. Good for them caused there've been a few jelly-fish encounters in these waters in recent weeks. A lone hobby fisherman came and sat with me showing me this one fish (garfish) he got after spending half a morning in the water with his pukat. "Tough life being fisherman ...", he said looking forlorn.

Today's route 16 kms, 40mins going in and 40mins back with a 20 min break at destination and 20 minute loitering around a neighbourhood I'd never been to before after living in Miri all these years. The ride consisted of a moderate downhill run at the start, uphill crawl on the way back ... very slowly in the saddle.
