It has been warm days and clear sky the past week or so ... a relief after almost 2-3 seasons of just clouds and rain around this time of year. I's been a good run for the past couple of night imaging Milkyway.

In 2018, the wait was from August till November before the Milkyway came through due to clouds an rain. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that 2018 was the worst year yet for Milkyway. If it didnt rain, the sky was just full of clouds. There would be a couple of nice days during the week however by nightfall it would again turn cloudy.
In 2019, it wasn't too great because I only managed one night of Milkyway from Sele in October. However this was OK, forgivable in a sense because I was already blessed with a giddy view of the Milkway from the Trans-Himalayas from India in July amidst very little light pollution.
Here's looking at 2020 ... hopefully the good weather, clear sky stays till November (wishful thinking)! But who knows?
