Sunny days

It's been14 degrees in the morning for the past couple of weekends; and sunny! What better way to spend the day than being outside outdoors in the full glory of the sun. Short walks to familiar places or spend the day roaming around the countryside amidst farm animals.

Now that our working schedule starts slowly to ramp up, there's less and less free time to spend together other than at the week ends. There's less than 4 weeks before the children are off to school! It'll be even more hectic then.

Here in the summer (at least up to this point) the days are not necessarily sunny and warm. Normally it's just wet, cloudy and chilly. Any days with some sun has to be taken advantage of as soon as the little rays of sunlight peek through the northern clouds.

Last weekend we drove to Gjesdal to re-drive the twisty roads, stopping by some nook and crannies as it reveal itself to us.

Somewhere in the countryside.

These two prefered to play in the cold clear stream rather than climb to the waterfall.

Sheep enjoying the sun near Gjesdal.

Clear streams traversing the hill country.

This weekend we walked to Centrum.

Walking on the bridge from Buoy, overlooking the old scenic part of Stavanger.

Apartments by the pier, don't forget your yacht. The whole area was spic and span clean!

Folks spending a leisurely warm morning looking at what potential gems are on offer at the fleamarket.

Church of St Pitr basking in warm sun.
