Turtle Conservation Center, Setiu
Detailed route to get yourself to TCC near Setiu. We passed by this year almost every year, if not twice a year!
We are gonna go to Setiu to learn more about the work that's being done by dedicated volunteers at Turtle Conservation Center, Setiu!
We've been thinking about adding a few more little ones to our family for a while now ... at least turtles need not go to college, or need a handphone, PSP or the like! And they never talk back!

A minute little songster at Kinabalu National Park
For a little guy, this Mountain Tailorbird got the most melodious song I've heard since that of the bubbly Sooty-capped Babbler at Lambir Hills NP. The song goes on and on and you can tell how much he's into it just by his intentful stance purposeful posture. Wish I had a recorder with me ... you are never prepared for encounters like these.
Friendly Bird at Kinabalu National Park
Walking alone in the forest unencumberd has it's advantages, especially when you are presented by tiny little cutie like this. It was chomping on something it just pick up from the forest floor when I stumbled upon the scene. Friendly bird, it kept hoping and looking back. I didn't bring a tripod with me, sitting on the groun dtrying to brace myself for this shot. No doubt they were many blurred attempts using flash (-1 compensation) on 2nd curtain.
